Why?
I grew up with lack of money in my family. That led to financial and emotional distress for a long period of time. I realized how a potential talent can be lost due to such problems.
Once I started earning I made a pact with myself : I’ll donate 1% of my income for charity.
I have been doing that since July 2012, when I joined my first job. I made a fund and made a fixed deposit of that money from where I get interest in every quarter.
At present I donate that money to Ramakrishna Mission in Jammu.
